WARHAMMER 40K: IMPERIAL KNIGHTS KNIGHT Questoris [54-15]

The Knight Preceptor is a Questoris-class short-ranged basic. Its design is intended to exemplify the tenets of the Code of Chivalry in battle: close to the enemy at an honourable distance, engage with sufficient force to show respect for their might, and execute them swiftly and cleanly in the name of the Emperor. To this end, it is armed with either a reaper chainsword or thunderstrike gauntlet, and the rare and terrifying laspulse cannon. Canis Rex is a famous Knight Preceptor, having escaped torture at the hands of the Iron Warriors, he has since punished the servants of Chaos with fire and fury.

This multi-part plastic kit contains the components necessary to assemble a Knight Preceptor. This is a phenomenal kit, containing a complete Imperial Knight Warden kit, along with 37 extra components to upgrade the Knight to Preceptor, and alternatively to Preceptor Canis Rex. The components are as follows:

- A frame of Imperial Knight carapace components: carapace, engine block, shoulder pads, shoulder joints, 2 sets of carapace heraldry and a heavy stubber;
- A frame of Imperial Knight leg components: legs and feet, greaves, waist, chest plates, 2 face plates, a pennant, shield and armoured knee and hip plates;
- An Imperial Knight weapons frame: thermal cannon, rapid-fire battle cannon, heavy stubber, 2 alternative face plates and torso;
- An Imperial Knight Warden frame: thunderstrike gauntlet, avenger volley cannon, twin icarus carapace autocannon, carapace missile launcher with a choice of ironstorm, shieldbreaker or stormspear missile pods, melta cannon, 3 alternative faceplates and a shield.

Using these sprues to build the basic Imperial Knight frame with reaper chainsword or thunderstrike gauntlet, you can use the following to complete the Knight Preceptor:

- A frame of Knight Preceptor components: a laser pulse cannon, a unique face plate, a multilaser to fit under the left front of the carapace, an alternative heraldic element for the carapace, 6 wolf-headed gargoyles, a kneepad with sculpted sword and chain, a cockpit which can be fitted inside the carapace or opened up to reveal the throne and control panels if you choose the seated pilot, a foot pilot with a power supply, a unique shield and a Knight Canis Rex specific pennant.

This kit can be built as a Knight Preceptor, Canis Rex, Errant, Paladin, Warden, Gallant or Crusader; the weapons are interchangeable and can be used as add-ons to any of your other Knights.

The Knight Preceptor comes as 250 components, and includes a Citadel 170mm Oval base, a Citadel 25mm Round base for the foot pilot, and a transfer sheet featuring Imperial Knights heraldry and Canis Rex specific.
